A major impediment to Police observation of  what's going on in residential areas is the shadows cast by low branches of the tree lawn trees.  They can severely block the illumination of the street lights, as well as block any light from private home lights. 

Lt Vasquez asked that each of us look around our immediate neighborhoods for public dark spots created by low tree lawn tree branches blocking the overhead street light.  He asked that we write down the light pole number, and report the address location and pole number to Det James Taliaferro at  jtaliaferro@trentonpolice.net .tent here
