-To promote neighborhood harmony through communication, understanding, knowledge and work of residents and businesses within the Hillcrest Civic Association Boundaries, as well as in the City of Trenton, New Jersey,

-To research and conduct studies on homeownership,

-To develop measures to ensure community safety, employment and health,

-To retain information that is meaningful to the community at-large,

-To promote neighbor-to-neighbor contact to facilitate better relations and increase community participation in neighborhood building, business, commercial relations and development of community safety initiatives to include anti-terrorism training and protocols,

-To promote educational campaigns designed to improve health and cleanliness of communities,

-To hold block parties, cleanup programs, crime prevention seminars, improve relations with the business community and promote efficient government,

-To promote citizenship through involvement,

-To work with the local government agencies, elected officials, civic and community groups to ensure that community needs are addressed,

-To promote children and young people’s involvement in community management and neighborhood enhancement.
