| Hillcrest resident Elizabeth D. tackles the trash |
On Saturday, March 24 approximately 20 residents of the Hillcrewt neighborhood in Trenton, NJ gathered to clean the area
by the old railroad tracks and park (located near the corner of Hillcrest and Homan). Many thanks to Hillcrest resident
Paul C. not only for alerting the civic association to the trash problem in this area but also for picking
up trash on his own in this location on several occasions.

| HCA Members Robin V. and Horace |
HCA Members worked for several hours clearing years worth of debris from the area where the railroad used to run. Debris
was sorted into several categories: trash, recyclables, and large items, such as tree stumps, tires, etc

|
| HCA Members Enjoy Refreshments |
HCA Members enjoy refreshments. Bill V. and Jesse W. provided coffee and donuts for the event.
Priori's Delicatessen saw the clean-up in progress and brought an assortment of egg and sausage sandwiches.
Sam and Carol P. contributed bottled water as well as rakes, gloves and trash bags for future clean-ups!

|
| Bill V., Joann C. and HCA Pres. Larry C. |
The area where the damaged HCA sign stood was cleared of debris and raked. Bill V. has volunteered to repair the
sign. Plans are underway for residents to donate flower bulbs for the flower beds in the park area.

|
| Trash Awaits Pick-Up |
At least 30 bags of trash and approximately 15 bags of recyclables were collected. Other items such as tires, concrete,
tree stumps, car parts and other large items were collected. HCA residents hope to secure no littering and no dumping
signs for various areas in the neighborhood.

|
| Trash Pick-Up |
HCA Members help Trenton's Department of Public Works to load up the trash. In addition to the Saturday pick-up,
Trenton's Department of Public Works provided shovels, rakes, gloves and heavy duty trash bags for our neighborhood clean-up.
